Microsoft founder and new Norwich City manager Bill Gates told a press conference that he will turn the club around into the new Real Madrid since he bought the club for £220 mil earlier today.
The Seattle-born billionaire told a press conference at the Norwich Hilton "I have always watched Norwich City at home in the States. I have loved them since the era of Jeremy Goss and Chris Sutton. I feel at home here in Norwich and I will turn this club around into the new Real Madrid. I will invest £10 billion into the club to upgrade the stadium, new staff, new players and new everything. I will turn Carrow Road into a new 85,000 all-seater stadium and I will be looking for players like Luis Figo, Ronaldo, Raul, Roberto Carlos, David Beckham and, if I can get him out of retirement, Zinedine Zidane to build the club in the direction it deserves to be in".
Manager Glenn Roeder has been sacked also this morning, with Frank Rijkaard likely to become his new successor.
Gates has confirmed that all the current players have all been sacked and he is looking for world class galacticos with the exception of Gary Doherty who Gates is a fan of and insists that he will be club captain and even offered him a new five-year contract worth £130,000 a week.
