Anfield legend Fernando Torres has got a second part-time job in a Vodafone outlet store in Liverpool's city centre to "pass the time".
The Spanish international told Liverpool Echo "there isn't that much to do in Liverpool except go drinking, clubbing, golfing, driving or play football, and I play football professionally and don't like any of the others so I decided to get a job to pass the time. Plus, it gives me more pocket money for petrol, DVD's and groceries and stuff".
"The reason I got a job here in this Vodafone store is because my phone is Vodafone and I like this street. It's only a 10-15 minute drive from my apartment. Xabi (Alonso) came in the other day looking for a replacement sim card. I barred him because I have the power to do so. I told him I was joking and told him to come back but I didn't give him a discount because I am also on commission."
Fernando works 3-4 hours every second day in the Vodafone Store in Parker Street, Liverpool.
