Under new Turkish law, Colin Kazim-Richards is no longer eligible to play for the Tukish national team. Passports can only be claimed for those born in Turkey and all passports for those born in foreign countries are revoked.
This could mean that the Fenerbahçe midfielder, known in Turkey as Kâzım Kâzım, will have his caps taken off him. But the 21-year old could also have his family down £1 mil as his father made a bet in 2003 on that his son would get at least 10 caps for Turkey. The player is only on 7 caps at time of writing. The player is reported to be "not bothered too much".
