New Manchester City signing Shaun Wright-Phillips has told reporters he was "forced" to re-sign for Man City.
"Well, when I met Thaksin Shinawatra and Mark Hughes, they locked the door behind me and Shinawatra pulled out a 9-iron golf club and approached me. Mark Hughes, one of my heroes, then pulls out a steak knife and they told me if I didn't sign a contract that I would be beaten to an inch of my life and stabbed in the testicles." Wright-Philips explained.
Shaun Wright-Phillips signed a contract and is now officially a Manchester City player and signed a four-year contract worth approximately £80,000 a week.
"I am fucking shitting myself. What if miss a penalty? Or score an own goal? Is Thaksin going to dismember me?" Wright-Philips said.
