Manchester United striker Carlos Tévez told reporters he is considering retirement after United's Community Shield win, claiming it has always been his dream to win this honour.
"Yes. Ever since I was a little boy in Argentina, I would see teams win the Community Sield, or Charity Shield. I remember I seen Leeds win it in '92 and I have been addicted ever since. I always thought that no matter what I would win, if I win the Community Shield, I feel there would be nothing better. Never mind the Wolrd Cup, the Copa América, Copa Libertadores or even the Champions League. The Community Shield was everything to me. I don't know if there's anything I could win that would mean anything" Tévez told a press conference.
Sir Alex Ferguson declined to comment.
