
City rivals AC Milan and Inter Milan, who both share the massive San Siro have come to an agreement to increase the size of the stadium. The agreement will see the stadium rise from it's current 82,955 capacity to a staggering 310,000 mega-stadium. It will be approximately twice it's current size in height and have five main tiers of seating around the pitch.
It will still be called the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (Stadio San Siro) and will be the first UEFA ten-star stadium. It was also have a hotel, 24hr bar, supporters lounge, 50 snack kiosks, a shopping centre, an airport and a DIY store all within the stadium. Building will start immediately and should be finished within a fortnight as there will be almost two million construction workers on site working 24 hours a day. Cost of the upgrade is almost €30 billion.
In the meantime both Milanese clubs will play their home games at the Emirates Stadium, London.
